We test and assess your vehicles for improved acceptance at the end-customer
The gaseous emissions of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Europe, are determined and assessed under defined environmental conditions in the laboratory using the New European Drive Cycle (NEDC). Only a fraction of the drive conditions which occur under real driving are covered by this test. Today, different new methods to determine the gaseous emissions and the energy consumption of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles are discussed.
The expert-panel „Emissions and Energy“ of the United Nations (UNECE), develops a new test procedure, to harmonise the assessment of exhaust gas emissions and energy consumption of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (Worldwide Harmonized Light Duty Test Procedure; WLTP). In Europe, the emissions which occur in real road traffic (Real Driving Emissions = RDE) shall be measured and assessed with portable measurement systems (Portable Emission Measurement System, PEMS). For many years, we work on the future of emission measurement technology, and we are present in various research groups and committees. Our customers profit from our knowledge and commitment.
